The snow and the cold probably kept some operators in bed, but not Ian. The contest was slow going with only 66 contacts during the entire event. There were a number of brave people out operating, we worked 3 /P stations, but not a lot of DX activity.
its unlikely that we have won, but maybe a second place?
During the contest, the BEKO failed again, with its output dropping to 50W. Not the best or most reliable piece of equipment the club has ever bought. Only time will tell if it is salvageable once more.
Bob and Dave provided a soup and sausage roll snack for all attending. Not sure the sausage rolls were that well received (see picture) it would seem that they blame the oven, I blame the talking.....
