WORK PARTY 4/7/15 PROGRESS

The work party of 4/7/15 met all objectives for the day. The existing kitchen area was removed and relocated into the 'new half' of the hut, roof strengthening works were completed, electrical first fixes done and the main area of the Club House treated to a fresh coat of white paint. The former kitchen area will be converted into another shack (and this work was started) primarily for VHF/UHF usage so both can be 'active' at the same time to avoid the congestion and QRM in the current single shack. Thanks to all who attended yesterday - much was achieved. Below is a picture of the new VHF shack area
