CLUBHOUSE RENOVATIONS- PROGRESS REPORT

The Club work parties have been focussing on the second half of the hut obtained from the ECSSC. Works include roof strengthening and fitting out to provide a new kitchen and computer room. Also approximately half the existing Club room ha been re-decorated. The new kitchen and office facilities are almost complete with fresh plaster skim and paint. The first fix electrics have also been done. Many thanks to all who attended and thanks to 'project manager' Ian M0HVO for advice and materials and Dave M0ZDB for the electricals. We have also received a quote to re-cover the roof with a multi coat 'hot lay' system - this major expenditure was approved by a majority of Members and will be completed sometime during the summer.
