CLUB PARTICIPATE IN ILLW FROM HURST CASTLE
The Club Participated in International Lighthouse Weekend from Hurst Castle using the call sign GB5HCL. The station was set-up inside Hurst Castle near to the two 'low' lighthouses. Working conditions - Yaesu FT897, 100W to G5RV. Operators G1ZVC, Spencer G0NIQ, Bob M0VBD, Dave M0ZDB and Martin M0KZC worked 92 stations, 30 lighthouse stations on 20/40m over the two days during Castle opening hours.
