Start Six am local (also 1hrs sleep loss due o clock change!)..Caravan preloaded, all we had to do was to get up, trigger the beacons and leave ! but .. Temp -2.5deg C ...one car flat battery!and all iced up.
We arrived at Bryanston school in good time and set up BASE next to the sports field car park and toilet block. Both Nicky and I then went around the course and set the foxes each with its marker flag and unique pin punch. We placed the wire aerial in the trees with a fishing rod.Next job put out the direction signs and BVARS banners.
Time now 10:15am Car park fills up but no DF members all hockey and rugby teams.
Did I say the correct day?? 10:25am first arrive and all appeared barr two by the 11:00am start.
