International Quality Certification Centre is a group of notified bodies in 7 EU countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Belgium, Britain, Latvia, Romania and France) that are accredited to the European test and issue certificates of compliance.
According to the European Commission today the CE logo has become a symbol for free marketability of industrial goods within the EEA without any literal meaning. By affixing the CE marking to a product, the manufacturer – on his sole responsibility – declares that it meets EU safety, health and environmental requirements.
They have a few things to say about the "CE" marking - and the possible Chinese misuse of it.
