Chas G7ESE organized a team of BVARS members to operate G4RBV from the clubs QTH. 80m to 2m bands were activated on the Saturday but activity did not restart on the Sunday due to an internal blown fuse on the main transmitter. (Thanks in anyhow to those who turned out for that day)
Keith G8SYA returned the Rig to full working order very quickly.
Chas also has to be thanked for supplying refreshments and food to the operators!
This has been the first weekend use of the club Radio/shack for some time and I for one hope to see more of this in the future.
To the credit of Chas, the club was able to send a Cheque to the value of £131.50 to the British Wireless For The Blind Fund
