It took took attempts one Saturday morning on 7Mhz and then again on Sunday on 3.5 Mhz in the evening.
OUR HOLT near Wimborne is not good for RF with most spots, being either low down, under tree cover or the wrong side of a hill!.Pus HV power grid overhead.
When we did find a mobile phone signal to arrange the sked, we did make a contact!, although our weak 30W through a magmounted vertical made for very hard work at the Norfolk end.
