Setting up your Radioclubs.net account

Before you can get your own Radioclubs.net website, you need set up an account. You can do this by clicking on the 'Create club website' link in the menu on the www.radioclubs.net homepage. You will then be asked to enter your e-mail address, your chosen password, the full name of your club and a special short club name. Special care is needed over the choice of short club name because you cannot change it later and it is used to form the web address to your site. When you have finished, click the 'Create new account' button at the bottom, Once you have set up your account, you can login in and immediately start adding content to your website.


Updating your Radioclubs.net account

If you change your e-mail address or would like to choose a new password, you can update your account details by visiting www.radioclubs.net/accountadmin or clicking on the 'Update account details' option in the Quicklinks section of www.radioclubs.net/admin. The click on the 'Change your password, e-mail address or club name' option in the Quicklinks section. Once you have changes your details, click on the 'Update account' button at the bottom of the page.

Go to the Radioclubs.net Admin page (www.radioclubs.net/admin) by clicking on the 'Update club website' button in the menu on the Radioclubs.net homepage. Then choose the 'Basic information' option. Make sure you click the 'Update club information' button at the bottom of the page after you have made the changes.


Add, delete or update a news story

Go to the Radioclubs.net Admin page (www.radioclubs.net/admin) by clicking on the 'Update club website' button in the menu on the Radioclubs.net homepage. Then choose one of the add, delete or update news options. If you decide to edit or delete a news item, then you will be presented with a list of news items to edit or delete. Look down the list and select the item you would like to edit or delete. If you decide to create or edit a news item, ensure that you click on the button at the bottom of the page.


Add, delete or update an article

Go to the Radioclubs.net Admin page (www.radioclubs.net/admin) by clicking on the 'Update club website' button in the menu on the Radioclubs.net homepage. Then choose one of the add, delete or update article options. If you decide to edit or delete an article, then you will be presented with a list of articles to edit or delete. Look down the list and select the articles you would like to edit or delete. If you decide to create or edit an article, ensure that you click on the button at the bottom of the page.

Go to the Radioclubs.net Admin page (www.radioclubs.net/admin) by clicking on the 'Update club website' button in the menu on the Radioclubs.net homepage. Then choose one of the add, delete or update event options. If you decide to edit or delete an event, then you will be presented with a list of events to edit or delete. Look down the list and select the event you would like to edit or delete. If you decide to create or edit an event, ensure that you click on the button at the bottom of the page.

Go to the Radioclubs.net Admin page (www.radioclubs.net/admin) by clicking on the 'Update club website' button in the menu on the Radioclubs.net homepage. Then choose one of the add, delete or update member options. If you decide to edit or delete a member's details, then you will be presented with a list of members to edit or delete. Look down the list and select the member you would like to edit or delete. If you decide to create or edit a member, ensure that you click on the button at the bottom of the page.


The web address of your website

The web address of your website is formed from the short club name you entered when you set up your account. If your short club name was nicetownars, then the web address of your site would be www.radioclubs,net/nicetownars. If you can't remember your short club name, then go to the Radioclubs.net homepage and click on the 'Find a club website' option. You will then be a presented with a full list of clubs that have Radioclubs.net websites. Your site will be among the them.
