By way of an update we made good progress on Saturday, we received a delivery courtesy of Aston Electrical Services of all the cable tray and fittings/fixings required and we have now installed all the cable tray to run in the power supply (courtesy of the JEC later on) and our RF feeder.
Mike PDJ has been pursuing the installation of a scaffold so we can access the existing tower for installation of the new feeder and antenna.
Peter PVL is in the process of updating the Offcom information for the new repeater location and needs to confirm an 'on-air' date with them.
Wednesday evening we shall be having another 'DIY workshop' at La Moye to try and get the box to house the repeater equipment finished ready for weatherproofing and installation though Rob RZD still needs to source some fixing brackets!
Local building contractor TM Ruane Ltd. generously provided the raw materials for the box construction (treated timber and shuttering plywood).
