SPECIAL EVENT SUCCESS
In conditions that left a lot to be desired we did manage over 500 contacts with the Special Callsign - GB0AD. Nothing to exotic but plenty of European stations and a fair few from North America. Equipment used was either a Trio TS-120V or a Kenwood TS-50,running 100w into a Full Size G55RV antenna up at 12m.
In the photo are Anthony - MW6OSS on the microphone and logging is Allan - MW6WRC both of whom recently passed their Foundation Licence at the club. Well done lads.
